Code of Conduct

Unhinged is a large gaming community that reaches outside of Ashes of Creation. We will enforce strict rules to ensure the sanctity of the Guild and Community as a whole. It should go without saying that you are expected to treat all guild members with respect and dignity. We are all adults here and we will expect you to act like it. This game is meant to be an escape from the real world and have some serious fun and we will protect that above all.

Hot button topics should be kept out of guild chat and avoided in public chats within the game. We do not want to act as a chat filter as we understand everyone has opinions on the world outside but we also want to have a space that people can come and game and escape reality for however long they spend here within the community.  Any instance of someone using degrading, racist, or hateful slurs against anyone will be met with swift unapologetic correction. Again we are adults here and should treat everyone with respect. 

Guild relations will be led by a team chosen by the council. Any guild member outside of this team is to treat all other guilds with respect even when we are taking their hard earned loot. We don’t need to trash talk in world chat. We don’t need to say anything. The council will handle relations with the overall community. I can tell you now, we will be taking things from people unapologetically. 1 Guild, 1 Goal and this is by any means necessary. If a guild or group is put on our KOS list you may attack at will. If we end up on someone else’s KOS you will also be able to attack at will. 

The world of Verra will be filled with foes and people that want to take what you have. You should never venture out alone and understand working with a team is the best way forward. If you are attacked you will relay all relevant information to the Rapid Response channels and follow the instructions of the shot caller taking up the issue. The guild does not guarantee your safety but will do its best to help you. If you set out on a solo run or an unsanctioned trade run you bear the responsibility. You WILL lose things to others in this game. It is a mechanic of the game and we will do absolutely everything we can to help you but understand sometimes  you may be told no. This is always at the discretion of the shot caller taking the call.

Those who feel this system is not right for them I would agree. This model is meant for achieving big dreams and building a guild that functions as a team. The solo guy that wants all his own glory and not a team player will be found out quickly and removed. This is not a place for handouts or the “good enough” crowd. You will get what you put into this guild. If you don’t want to help others and put in the same work as your fellow guild mates, you will be equally found out and removed. The guild while being ever focused on the big goals will aim to help individuals achieve personal goals that contribute to the guild. Guild activities will have a currency much like DKP and be tracked so that those who are contributing are also benefiting.
