๐Ÿš Vehicle Maintenance & Upgrades

๐Ÿšซ Vehicle Access Control

  • Ownership: The player who crafts a vehicle is its default owner. This ownership determines who can operate or modify the vehicle
  • Guild Permissions: Guilds can set specific permissions for vehicle usage, allowing members to access shared vehicles. This system enables collaborative use of resources within a guild
  • Vehicle Shelters: Storing vehicles in shelters not only protects them from environmental hazards, but may also restrict access to players, if certain rooms are available to certain players

As shown in the picture below, each granular permission can be grouped as a preset or role by the guild. These roles are then assigned to each player for that vehicle

๐Ÿ”ง Vehicle Management & Maintenance

  • The Fuel Percentage determines how much longer your vehicle can operate before needing a refuel. Keep in mind that this does not indicate bingo-fuel
  • The Shelter Indicator indicates whether the vehicle is currently located in a protected area from the harsh elements, such as sandstorms. If not, it will start taking decay damage
  • The lock icon is used to apply access control mechanics, allowing members to access shared vehicles for collaborative use and it functions as shown in the previous paragraph
  • Damage is taken on a component-by-component basis, meaning players will need to repair specific parts rather than the whole vehicle at once

๐Ÿฆบ Vehicle Research & Upgrades

As shown in the picture below, even though bundles exist for upgrades, vehicles are upgraded on a component-per-component basis that requires intel and schematics

As shown below, if you want to set-out into the Deep Desert as fast as possible, you will need an Ornithopter. Ornithopters are only available at around Mark 4 (Aluminum-type of materials)
